I just HAVE to start this blog with a quote: “And so the lion fell in love with the lamb…" he murmured. I looked away, hiding my eyes as I thrilled to the word. "What a stupid lamb," I sighed. "What a sick, masochistic lion.” ― Stephenie Meyer, Twilight This is Sean and Leigh! Leigh is a huge Twilight fan! And guess what? Her father is even chief of police! How cool is that?! We planned for these Twilight-inspired engagement shots in the beautiful downtown Salado! They had such a fun time being the flirty two that they are. I truly loved re-creating these shots for them and even capturing some of just them being playing and loving. Sean and Leigh are by far a couple of the most adventurous people I know right now. I always seem to spot photos on social media of their travels and activities. Whether it's hiking, camping, kayaking, exploring trails and parks or kissing behind waterfalls! These two are having the best time being their best selves! And what's even better? These two have recently become ONE!
In the little town of San Saba, on a beautiful and warm summer day, Leigh walked down the aisle to Sean in a quaint old church and exchanged their vows before God, family and friends. I don't think I've ever seen Sean shed a tear, but when he spotted that first premature glimpse of Leigh through the church doors as their wedding party entered in, he couldn't hold back his emotions and excitement. IT's a moment I'll always have in my memory of their ceremony! Afterwards, they enjoyed their guest's company at a reception, with accents of lavender and moss giving their decor a gorgeous outdoorsy style meets soft pastel elegance.
Here are some portraits that their guests missed out on...
